Drake International is looking for a Full Cycle Perm Consultant to run a permanent placement desk for Drake Halifax.  With exceptional verbal, interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills, you will be responsible to build a solid perm consultant desk with a focus on your specialties.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, the Full Cycle Perm Recruiter will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Direct hire recruitment.
  • Build a viable perm desk with a focus on your specialty.
  • B2B sales.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, Prepare and post notices and advertisements, Collect and screen applicants, Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, Review candidate inventories, Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers, Advise managers and employees on staffing.
  • Develop Recruitment solutions and Competency Systems.
  • Market research and management consulting.
  • Responsible for day-to-day new business development and management of clients.
  • Establish and maintain long-term working relationships.
  • Successfully source and identify qualified senior-level candidates; track and manage employee data including compensation, job information, training, certifications & education; performance evaluations etc.
  • Develop job descriptions and provide salary surveys to clients.
  • Track evaluation history and status.
  • Creative sourcing and research, strong interviewing skills and complete due diligence.
  • Identify new business opportunities, define client business requirements, develop and expand client relationships and manage ongoing engagements.
  • Make recommendations to clients regarding the top talent available to meet their needs and provide customer service to ensure the client's expectations are being met.
  • Responsible for managing the recruiting process through an existing database; networking, contacts, advertising campaigns and direct recruiting.
  • Manage the recruitment process based on changing priorities and client needs.
  • Evaluate skills to determine the candidate’s viability to support and resolve specific client needs.
  • Strategize with the Branch Sales Manager to accomplish business growth goals.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:     
  • 5+ years of experience preferred in a similar role.
  • University Degree in Business, Commerce or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to translate market intelligence into tangible results.
  • Experience with coordinating and managing challenging projects with proven results.
  • You are a visionary and strategic thinker.
  • Strong operational skills and experience.
  • Well-established in the business community with an excellent reputation.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational and people management skills and experiences.
  • A creative, innovative and results-oriented problem solver.
  • Strong acumen in business, sales and building client relationships.
  • Extremely well organized, multi-task oriented and efficient in time management.
