Job Description

Our client in the Packaging Industry is looking for Press Helpers to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Press Operator, the Press Helper will work towards increasing operational and customer satisfaction. In this role, you'll help the Press Operator run a modern gearless wide web 8 colour Flexographic Press.

What We Offer:

Job Type: Permanent, full-time with benefits
Shift: Rotating bi-weekly, mornings, afternoons, and nights
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly rate: $ 20/hr.
Location of work: Mississauga, ON L4Y 1S1

What You’ll Do:

Along with the Press Operator, set up the 8-colour Flexographic Press Machine with the correct type of ink, plates and materials as specified.
Work with Press Operators to deliver the entire printing job and achieve production targets while maintaining quality.
Communicate with Press Operators and Supervisors regarding the status of the job.
Maintain cleanliness of the machine and the work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or certification in Printing.
1 - 2 years of experience running the Gearless Flexo Press Machine.
Ability to work with a team and complete the setup within the allocated time.
Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards.
Must pass a criminal background check.
