On behalf of our client, a growing and well-respected civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across British Columbia, we are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager. What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the full lifecycle of civil construction projects, with a focus on bridge, concrete, and structural infrastructure.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, and close-out while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee safety and risk management plans in collaboration with internal safety teams.
  • Manage project documentation, cost tracking, and schedule updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain project momentum and resolve issues proactively.
  • Identify and manage change orders, claims, and dispute documentation.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture that values communication, initiative, and integrity.
What We’re Looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on bridge, concrete, and structural construction.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Solid understanding of construction lifecycles, contract management, and change order processes.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project documentation tools.
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
