Local Truck Driver – Class 1

We are looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our client’s team in Drummondville, QC for a full-time, permanent position.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be making local deliveries while driving a semi-trailer truck.

What We Offer:

• Full-time, permanent employment Mon to Fri

• Wage: $28/hour

• Option to be paid as an independent contractor

• Location: Drummondville, QC

What You'll Do:

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, following safe and efficient loading and handling procedures

• Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Drive a semi-trailer truck (reefer or dry van) for local deliveries

• Occasionally load and unload the truck using pallet jacks, pump trucks, etc.

• Drive the vehicle safely according to guidelines, minimizing accidents, traffic violations, and public complaints

• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, safe, and secure. Promptly report any defects to the transport manager

Who You Are:

• You hold a valid Class 1 driver's license

• You have at least 1.5 years of professional experience as a Class 1 truck driver

• You have no criminal record
